This Bauble, along with other Baubles, allow you to draw cards for cheap, which was vital in many decks that requires you to skip draws, such as Necropotence. The reason being that, in critical moment when you need a card but cannot afford the alternative payment, you got to draw with a Bauble.

This card needs more love. A zero cost sacrifice for a draw is insane. I use it in my March of the Machines deck. Once I get this out with my Salvaging Station I can draw as many cards as I want, and return my entire graveyard to my library!

I've recently been using the Bauble to first sac Lotus Bloom for blue, sac the Bauble to put my Lotus back into the library, the using Trinket Mage bring Lotus back. Or a Pyrite Spellbomb that may be needed.

I like this card, it is essentially 1 to draw a card, and it's an artifact that sacrifices itself, which has many applications, like Disciple of the Vault.(I have a deck around that and other artifacts that sacrifice themselves and draw.(Currently it can win on turn 3, but averages around turn 6.))

Or, you want to draw the card you just set on top of your library with DOOMsday! You might just want an additional card in your library, too.

I thought the bauble was free...
Never mind... But now I'm so sucked into it's flavor that I want to make a deck around it.

Seeing this card leaves me desiring a card that says "put the bottom card of your library on top of your library, then put the bottom card of your library under the top card of your library..." and so on until what was once your top card is now your bottom card. Does such an effect exist?

Been using this in combination with Glissa, the Traitor in my scavenger/deathtouch deck lately. Saves creatures who don't belong in the graveyard when i cast Thought Gorger. Throw in some Prey Upon and you'll be having a fun time. Oh, and you get to draw a card too, praise be Wizards!
