Devastating in artifact decks, but since sort of outclassed by Open The Vaults. I still like this and would play it if I had a mostly-white artifact artifact deck. Along with Soulscour, which is the most brutally one-sided spell there is if you play your cards (heh heh) right.

I wouldn't say this is strictly worse than Open the Vaults. Returning both enchantment and artifact has its advantage but there are situations where you want your artifacts back but not your enemy's enchantments. This is all the more true in multi-player games. If you don't play enchantments there's no reason to risk having your opponent returning theirs.

Hm.. it really depends I think. It's mana heavy, Open the Vault is less and also does enhancements, but my deck has no Enhancements, so it's +1 mana for my Mirrodin flavor deck.
Can't play it in Mirrodin block because of my Seat of Synod's and Ancient Sancturary *cries*
