This is rated way higher than Skeletal Crocodile, despite being almost exactly the same thing. Is the zombie tribe really that good, guys? Both do have inordinately great art, though, to be fair.

He's a zombie, plenty of tribal zombie stuff gives him boosts to toughness and help him go through unblocked.
Not overly exceptional, but not absolutely awful.

I like both the original art and flavor text more than that from 10th edition.
The former because it shows the necrogen mists and the crocodile as a typical organic-metalish creature.
The latter because this flavor text explains the big mismatch between power and toughness.
Overall, Not a playable card, but a very flavorful one.

I have a crappy deck with him in it... It's made with only commons and uncommons, give this guy Fear and +5/+0 and he doesn't seem so bad.

Common guys and girls, where's the love?
5/1 in a tribe that gets evade, in the removal colour?
Sure, he's not great, but he's better than people think.
Few things are better than making someone think twice before attacking than a high power and utterly expendable creature.
I really like him.
3/5
