These are not bad. You just need to know what kind of deck you'll be facing. There is no sense in maindecking this in the hopes that you'll be facing white. And there's certainly no sense in maindecking all five (as I did) and hoping to draw the right one. But this can be good. Especially in casual if you know what colours to expect of your opponents.

Doesn't work. White mages pummel you with weenies and you never have enough mana to prevent them all.

Better than the runes of protection if you aren't monowhite, but if you are monowhite, the runes are easily maindeck material!
