What are you talking about? This card is made of fun! Like when you cast Man-o'-War with this out so it can return itself and another creature over and over and over...

Equilibrium is not broken, in fact Uzbar I would prefer more cards like Equilibrium to Baneslayer any day. Equilibrium requires you to play smart as the person playing with or against it, unlike Baneslayer which just hits play and starts swinging.

I like how you can now "successfully" cast a spell even if it's countered. Try to convince that to your friends at the kitchen table next time...
I believe the original intention of the "whenever you successfully cast a spell..." wording would be more accurately errata'd to "whenever a spell you cast resolves..."

@ChaosFire: Read the Oracle text. The phrase "successfully cast" on all such cards has been changed to simply "cast."

UBER. I love it because I love to make annoying decks, or decks that aren't all beaters, removal, and acceleration.

A must in my counter deck. I bounce your creature...you wanna test the waters by playing it again? Fine by me :-)

@niallcmurry86
I agree with you. Not only it this card NOT broken, i think it rewards thinking players more so than "cast a fattie creature with bomb abilities and swing"
@urbar
yes you can bouce a creature, but you not only have to cast one yourself, but also pay mana... not to mention keep this enchantment on the board
@cyberium
evoke doesnt work with this in the way that you would like. when you play the creature, this effect goes on the stack on top of that spell, therefor the evoked creature is not in play when you have to choose targets.
@parsifal59
No, it triggers once, and only once, per creature spell you cast.

Question: Does this card works with Evoke creatures by returning it to your hand before the sacrifice takes place?
