I am proud of you all for not making any crass "no taskmaster can resist an excuse to beat it" jokes.

i wasn't really looking at the artwork, and so it looked like the two 'Mogglings' were actually fists. It was a total bro fist moment. :D

Art, flavor text and ability come together really well. Underpowered even back in the day though.
Rain of Gore will not work with this, as it is restricted to spells and abilities controlled by the life-gaining player.

False Cure might work well with it.

I was thinking Transcendence, but you can't even cast it on an opponent.

PERFECT PLAY:
Turn 1: Swamp, Dark Ritual, Grollub
Turn 2: Mountain, Bazaar Trader
Turn 3: Mountain, suspend Shivan Meteor
Turn 4: Mountain, Ragged Veins on Grollub, give Grollub to opponent via Bazaar Trader, hit opponent with some cheap burn spells.
Turn 5: Shivan Meteor on opponent's Grollub - gain 13 life; 13 life loss to opponent, Mountain, Finish with some more cheap burn spells.
GROLLUB VICTORY.
:P

No, Rumblin-Slumm, that is incorrect. Read Rain of Gore again.

I really fail to see how this is good at all. It's like some sort of retardedly bad, inverse Spitemare.
