And now 2011 has Call to Mind, which is this exept it can return Instants as well.

Portal didn't have instants, it had sorcery cards you could play at specific times, like False Summoning. So in the context of the Portal set, this WAS Call to Mind.

This should cost less to be any of use, it's just so slow... you had to use the sorcery to get it on the grave yard, then you have to use this for 3 mana, and then you have to cast the returned spell again. That costs too much. The sorcery better be really powerful if you're using this to get it.

As WotC has Oracled some Portal sorceries to instants this should be Oracled to be able to fetch those too.
