Aside from the drawback-less Ancient Tomb or City of Traitors with a Chrome Mox that is used in Legacy.
Old 5-color aggro decks would target a fetchland with it's "drawback" ability, then sacrifice the fetch. If you have two fetchlands to target and then sacrifice, you would not have to return any lands.
It's no longer a casual card due to price, but if you had them already, before they sky-rocketed in price, you can abuse the drawback with Exploration, Fastbond, and Horn of Greed

Excellent card. The primary card in the Faerie Stompy deck. Just unfair, especially in blue.
Ancient Tomb + Mox + this = turn 1 4/3 flier with no drawback.

Island + Sol RIng, Ancient Tomb + Sapphire, or return your Academy so you can tap it again. Any way, this is a sick card.

Use with landfall, or for that sake with some of the Zendikar lands that have "enters the battlefield" effects to turn the "drawback" into a positive thingl. Not bad at all in the right deck. 4/5

Just cast it on turn one with a Black Lotus, then play the land.
