very good mana fixer, note that the elf doesnt have any mechanical parts other then her hair
she is the master mentioned in the flavortext

Great card, possibly the best mana filter around (along with above mentioned pulse).

Also, elf, so tribal bonus (if you need a multicolour elf deck...).
