Good mana cost for 1/5 flying. Save you some time.

If you play mono-blue, this is a staple.

Though more vulnerable to burn, Guard Gomazoa is better at blocking creatures, and is generally the superior card. It's also more readily splashable, so it fits in more decks.

Also known as "The thing that keeps me from dying to your #$%&ing Serra Angel all the time" back in the 4th edition yestertimes, when blue had maybe at most three non-awful creatures.

Also an effective countermeasure to that Sengir Vampire guy, which was important in 1996. :)

Compare to Wall of Vapor.
Wall of Air
1BlueBlue for a 1/5 Flying.

Wall of Vapor.
3Blue for a 0/1 that can't take any block damage.

I would personally use Vapor, but I can see this ones uses.

@SquirePath - I'd much rather use this over Vapor, actually...almost every color has the ability to fire off one damage with ease; Air is safely out of most burn range.

Yeah, I can see this wall being a real hassle for your opponent once its on the table. Buys you some time to get your control combo going.
