You can Soulshift this thing back to your hand easily in a spirit deck.

Fantastic creature. Can be returned with Proclamation of Rebirth and searched for with Ranger of Eos to repeatedly ruin opponents' combat steps, eventually locking them out entirely at 6 mana where you can forecast Proclamation of Rebirth and return Kami of False Hope from your graveyard every turn.
Furthermore, the art on this card is amazing - I would love to see Kami of False Hope being featured as Wallpaper of the Week sometime.
One white mana for a creature that can be relevant throughout the entire game (well, save against milling and burn, which isn't very common in my local casual environment) is incredible, and the art is just awesome. 5/5 from me.

White spore frog is awesome. G/W Turbofog for the stall!

Put it in a deck with Angel of Flight Alabaster to get it back. Then throw in Oyobi, Who Split the Heavens for good measure.
(This post predates Innistrad, and the first link doesn't work yet)

While Proclamation of Rebirth is an obvious choice, I would just wait to use Debtors' Knell. In the meantime, I splice in Soulless Revival into one drop arcane spells like Spiritual Visit.
"Any hope of victory is false hope."

Uncounterable? Um, stifle? Counter target triggered or ACTIVATED ability.
Its barely ever used for the activated aspect, but thats its purpose... to be the counterspell of things that aren't actually spells.
