This card is not really a great card by itself, but as a combo card it can be brutal. Try combo-ing it with thought of ruin and dingus egg... my buddy made a deck around that and it womps major butt. Now, what shall i do with all that excess land you ask??? Seismic Assault. A deck fueled by lands, especially when there is no limit to the number of lands you can put in a deck... so like I said: a good combo card

Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle makes this more viable late game, but you probably wouldn't need to resort to this unless you were playing multiplayer.

The name sounds like a J-metal band.

No, Dudboy, you pick up the lands on resolution.

You don't want to know what happens if the barrel's up.

Huh, take what others have mentioned, add Exploration, and Stomping Ground. Suddenly it's a heffty amount of damage for a really cheap price.
Shame Exploration at time of posting is only Vintage.

Was about to rate this card a 5/5 and call you guys idiots, then I noticed the lack of "player" in the wording.
2/5

Quick question. Is returning the mountains to your hand part of the cost? So if someone plays this card, and sweeps up say, five mountains, can I counter it at that point and prevent the damage, but still have the player return the lands to his hand?
