Æ is a Latin ligature. I believe it still counts as A for alphabetical purposes.

Yes, Baron Sengir is in the textbox.
It would seem that the creatures are taking turns jumping into the abyss. While remaining in their ordely alphabetical line.
I find it odd that Baron Sengir is so relaxed about this all.

An Armor Thrull has fallen in, also illustrated by Pete Venters. Clearly Pete Venters has demonstrated what would happen when this is cast when he was using his Pete Venters deck.
