Wow, I thought it would have gotten a higher rating. Although, yeah, I should get some Primal Bellows instead for my green deck. I didn't know about those.
However, his card has won me many games because a 1/1 creature slips past my opponent's defenses, only to turn into a 12/12 or higher. Hilarious to see the looks on their faces.

Give this card some credit. Sure, it's too expensive, but at uncommon you can't expect Might of Oaks. This can end games.
Edit:
@Mode: Well, if I knew about Primal Bellow at the time of my original writing (8/6/2009 6:00:19 AM), my comment might have been a bit different or I would work at WotC and get fired for spoiling cards unknown to the public. Nevertheless this card has its uses and counts all your lands, not just forests, is recurrable with Hana Kami, gets cheaper with Long-Forgotten Gohei, is a splice outlet... and gets 2.5 Points from me while Primal Bellow gets 4.0.

Works fairly well in long-winded EDH matches, considering all of the nonbasics you tend to use. Late game I've seen this used to give a commander +15/+15 outta nowhere, enough damage to call it a game, so it definitely does have it's uses.

A very boring and worthless instant, its even sadder knowing that its an uncommon.

You might not get a Might of Oaks at uncommon, but you might get a Primal Bellow, holgir.
I guess i'm not the only one who prefers a non-Arcane version for monogreen decks which costs less than this shamelessly overcosted spell.

The only use I've ever gotten from this is recurring it with The Unspeakable for a significant boost each turn, which helps ensure something will trample through to recur it again.

Guys, yes it costs quite a bit but for the effect? With these kinds of cards in your infect deck, that Ichorclaw Myr they just let through to save a creature just turned into a 10/10. It's a chancy card but it can get the job done every once in a while.
