During the Great Creature Type Update, they usually they kept the oddball printed creature type, and then gave the creature additional ones to match it's name and artwork (See: Thelonite Monk). This time, I guess they just spaced it.

@Scumbling1: Ley Druid was reprinted in 9th. His type change thus falls under the rules for reprinting type changes, not the rules the GCTU used.
