Well, yes and no, simic guildmage IS better as an overall transfer affect, but kitsune mystic has a unique advantage. The kitsune mystic ability does -not- specify that it has to be -your- creature. You can steal enchantments from your opponent. More over, this is an important difference for cards like coma veil, because you can place it on a new target once a turn, or pacifism. However, it is harder to get your kitsune flipped in the first place, although if you have a deck with pacifism in it you can still enchant your kitsune with it and then move it after its flipped with the ability. Also many people don't think about the fact that its ability does not require the kitsune to tap, and when its flipped its a 4/5 creature who can do some heavy lifting.

@A3Kitsune: Kitsune Mystic seems to have a serious case of split personality though, so it might not work out.

@Coyotemoon722, the ability doesn't specifically target any of the creatures, only the enchantment, so it can get around shroud, the same way stonehewer giant can get around shroud.

Once flipped, combo with Fractured Loyalty and Soltari Guerrillas for pure evil.

I like flip cards, but after seeing this card I guess I knew less about Kamigawa block than I thought. I was under the impression that all of them flipped into Enchantments. That's what's great about this game, so many cards I still run into cool stuff I didn't already know about.
Yes, I will take your Blanchwood Armor. Oh, you thought your Curse of Chains would stop my attacker? Not after dropping him and getting it flipped.

Goes great with Umbra Mystic. The two may be lovers.

I have two of these right now in my WG enchantment deck. Even with the small selection of enchantments that i have, this card makes them waaaay overpowered. I've been thinking about using them in a token abusing critter deck (maybe eldrazi spawn), and throwing everything on whatever is unblocked.

@Donovan_Fabian: Simic Guildmage moves Pacifism and Coma Veil around just fine. The initial and final target permanents must be controlled by the same player. This guy can steal their enchantments though, and that's cool. The Guildmage can move the enchantments on their lands.
@coyotemoon: You are wrong. Enchantments can be attached to permanents with shroud. Auras only target when they are cast, but if put on the battlefield they must attach to a legal permanent (without targeting it). If no such permanent exists, they don't leave whatever zone they were previously in.

Yes, Simic Guildmage does funtion better than the Autumn-Tail, but the Autumn-Tail gives white decks access to aura transfering.
