No, you can't. You can destroy any creature for 
, and if that creature would be destroyed (and put in a graveyard), it is exiled instead.
Exiling is a much more powerful mechanic than destroying, and the two shouldn't be confused. That combo would not allow you to remove indestructible or regenerating creatures, while it would remove the cards it did affect from the game.

The second ability was great for the block; Dragons exiled instead of triggering their death ability or soulshift creatures were owned by this guy.
Great is sealed deck, and great in casual. 4.5/5

I'm gonna try him as an EDH general. He seems fair, he can attack, and jab at weenies/utilities and also life points, getting to 21 damage could take a bit of effort though...

Yeah, but you can't play Olivia Voldaren in a mono-red deck. This guy is much better than his Pupils or his Blessing, that's for sure.

This dude rocks. When I don't play him for a while I tend to forget how much ass he kicks- but I swear whenever he does anything it's crucial and this card wins games.

Love this card when he's equipped with Kusari-gama and you attack with a creature that has provoke. His second ability is bound to *** off any black players who rely on their graveyard for strategy.

The second ability can be ignored in most cases but a 4/4 for 5 in red is pretty good already and repeatable burn at a reasonable price never gets old...
