The classic creature counter. With timing, this can easily stop your opponent's trump card. Worth using in almost any blue deck.

The creature version of negate. Good for its cost against creature decks, and I miss this art... The guy's soul is bald.

You could play this in standard, as long as you dont run it with essence scatter, and if a person names this card with Slaughter Games or Nevermore, let them change it to "Remove Soul" instead.

Might not fly in a tourney, but its the same card so I dont think your friends would mind.
