What started out as a normal game of magic for me quickly ended in disaster. My opponent started the game with Gemstone Caverns in play then he discarded a Island and used this cards ability to give himself one mana Elvish Spirit Guide Then he played Flash and brought Protean Hulk from his hand into play, but since he couldnt play Flash's additional cost, Protean hulk was buried. Then he used its abillity to bring 3 Storm Crow's into play and 4 Black Lotus's. then turn one started (he went first) and sacc'd 3 lotus's to give himself 9 mana then he played a quicksilver gargantuan which copied storm crow. This was all before on turn 1.then on turn 2 sacced his remaining Lotus and played and island, then played 2 berserk's plus giant growth, he played the Growth and berserk number 1... (see all)

Recently I've been seriously considering buying all the storm crows I can find on the internet. It shouldn't cost me more than $100, and I'd have something of a monopoly on one of the greatest cards in the history of teh game.

If I could I'd make a deck with 58 Storm Crows and 2 Islands. That's probably why Wizards made the max 4 rule, because of this beast of a card.

If you are foolish enough to play non-Storm crow creatures before playing storm crow, and your opponent casts a storm crow, you have a very brief amount of time, maybe half a turn, to cast Mirrorweave on the Storm crow before it annihilates your non-storm crow creatures. This will turn your creatures into storm crows for a turn, giving you time to wise up and cast your own storm crow on your own turn. If you are smart, you will play a kicked Rite of Replication on the same turn, ensuring you have more storm crows than your opponent. Remember, the key to victory in Magic is to always have more storm crows than the other guy.
