This is like Chromatic Sphere/Star, except that you can't use it first turn and it provides 2 coloured mana. If you are willing to trade the first for the second, this is the card for you. Chromatic Sphere was a great card since it was very efficient and worked wonders in any multicoloured deck; this is just as good. The draw-a-card bit really makes this worth the mana.

The Eggs, along with Chromatic Sphere / Star, only see play in a very specific type of combo deck. That deck wants to cycle through the bulk of it's Eggs in a single turn. A card that requires a turn to come online (like this) won't work at all in such a deck. Therefore, Terrarion has no home.

I use it in my myr moonvessel infinite mana deck with dross scorpion, enduring renewal and semblance anvil.

it's from Ravnica, therefore it's awesome.
it gives you 2/3 of a Black Lotus- actually better than that, since you get any two colors, for a downpay of one, and then 2 more.
it's not a ZOMFG SECOND COMING OF SOL RING! card by any means...but it's strong considering that it resembles (mildly) cards considered too OP for Legacy.
it's not straight up ramp- but it's real good color fixing, and a draw on top. possibly better than Mind Stone. debate if you wish.

This is bad for any deck that one would want to run an effect like this they would run an egg thats in their colors. If this didn't come into play tapped it would be amazing.
And the idiot that said that this is 2/3rds of a black lotus is stupid its 2/3 of a black lotus that costs 3 mana and you can't use the turn it comes into play, however it does cantrip.
However i honestly can't see this being played in any deck theres so many better options for mana fixing or for playing your entire deck in a turn, which is the primary purpose behind in these types of cards.
if it cost 1 mana to activate and came into play tapped it would be better you would net even on mana total, accel a single turn and cantrip which i could imagine would see play as is it's basically a worse version of the eggs with added versatility.
Oh and the signets from the same set are way way better for mana fixing of for that matter prophetic prism if you're desperate for mana fixing and cantripping.

@land_comment Because you don't get mana. You fix mana, one time. This is Manamorphose but worse. Any repeatable mana fixer (such as something like Birds of Paradise) is way better, except for stuff like Storm, which there are better cards for, especially since this card is delayed one turn.
@DarthParallax It does not give you any part of a Black Lotus, because it costs 2 mana and a card to give you 2 mana and a card. Net gain 0, just different colors of mana. That's not even counting the 1 mana you lost to play it in the first place.
