These cards make excellent turn 2 or 3 cards. Just tap out and drop. They're better than lands like cascade bluffs and other dual lands because at the cost of having one less mana on the turn you play it, you have one extra mana available the next turn. Plus, when used with cards like frantic search, snap and cloud of faeries, you actually gain mana by playing spells, which is sick in storm.

People seem to ignore the fact that this card pays back what it lost in no time at all. Its a dual land that gives both types at once
