Outclassed by several more recent cards, including Darkblast, but I dearly miss the note of finality this card carried.
It is dead.
"Can I regenerate it?"
It is dead.
"Can indestructibility save it?"
It is dead.
"What about---"
It is dead.

I love this version; the "it is dead" text makes me smile.

A decent form of removal...since replaced by Enfeeblement, among others...

The crazy wording is one of the reasons I started collecting Weakness... Shuler's last name is spelled incorrectly too.
I now own something like 4000 copies of Weakness and including 500+ copies of the alpha version featured here. I purchased from Douglas Shuler the original painting that Doug was commisioned by WoTC to complete for the Alpha set.

Considering how much everyone BAWWWed about Obsidian Firheart's reminder text, it's good to see how well this card's rules text is received by the community.
