They're still in extended, and most casual players don't have playsets of Shock lands or Fetches to use, cards like this are common for a reason.

I think Redwindrummer's Sarcasm was missed on some.


The signets have always been cheap great mana fixers. Great in casual, and always good to have in formats like EDH/Commander

The Signets are good during when they were in Standard. But in Legacy/Vintage, there could be more efficient ways to produce mana.

There are no better ways to fix mana in Vintage until Wizards prints artifacts that cost zero and can add mana of any colour. But that will never happen.
