Vindicate is not an instant. That's a good reason to consider this for your deck rather than vindicate.
The other reason? Vindicates cost money.

running 4 of these in my B/W as opposed to spending $120 on 4 vindicates

I think this doesn't prevent regeneration because as with Artifacts and Creatures, they are more commonly regenerated, or have abilities or other cards that regenerate them (eg. Welding Jar). While obviously as stated above, creatures are regenerated a lot, you just don't see Enchantment regeneration very often. It actually sounds really weird to me, at least lol. Maybe it's the flavor thing of it. That's my guess.

Using four of these as removal until I can get some money for a playset of Swords to Plowshares.
Great card and I love the multifunction. 5/5

@achilleselbow:
I think Rakdos had Wrecking Ball. The cost is {1} at {2}{B}{R}, but it's the creature/land effect you are describing.
I do agree, though; a cycle of these would have been pretty awesome. Though "Petrify" I think would be 'counter target noncreature spell' to complement "Liquify"'s 'counter target creature spell'.
Also, the destroy target artifact or enchantment would be nullified almost instantly outside of block play, since there's Naturalize and Pacifism. Possibly a "Remove from Game" variant?
Just some thoughts. I really like the card, though. Excellent removal for an in-block deck. Vindicate might be better in a broad sense, but this did rather well in my Orzhov deck.

Based on this and Putrefy, it would've been cool to see a whole cycle of these, each destroying a different combination of two types of cards. Such as:
Purify (White/Green): Destroy target artifact or enchantment.
Petrify (White/Blue): Destroy target creature or counter target instant spell.
Liquefy (Blue/Green): Destroy target artifact or counter target creature spell.
Then a Gruul spell that destroyed an artifact or land, and a Rakdos spell that destroyed a creature or land. Not sure what the Boros spell would do though.
