I know this card isn't really that great. Sorin's Thirst does the same for less mana (albeit BB), and Doom Blade Terror et al straight out kill and don't worry about how tough something is for one less as well.

But I love, love, love the flavour of this card. The Orzhov were my favourite guild, B/W is my favourite combination, and when I play it I just feel happier running this.

Inquisitor Exarch has flexibility...this does not...especially for the color Black of damage/lifegain.
