This edition has my favorite art and flavor text for this card.
Playability-wise, it's worth considering Sea Gate Loremaster over this, except maybe for Wizard tribal. For one more CMC you get a tougher body and it's more splashable.

EPIC MUSTACHE MAN!
Very nice ability, definite play for a wizard tribal deck. However, 4 cmc for a 1/1 is pretty steep, even as good as the card draw is.

I'm going to say 2/5. I would never play it because it's so fragile and costly, but...
... my friend works the heck out of it with Mind Over Matter to draw whatever he wants.

He gets a 5/5 just for the 'stache.

I must have missed this card somehow... not great, but not bad either. Very "core"

Its a must answer for the opponent, the card advantage adds up really quick.

For those of you commenting on his 'stache, see Deepwood Drummer
