Back in the day, this guy was one of the best ways to get a super-creature which could romp your opponent.
A fun addition to Goblin Decks or any horde.

Keldon Warlord rewards you for playing a creature-heavy deck, so many early goblin decks used Warlords as their big finisher. Until the release of The Dark expansion, there just weren't enough goblins in Magic to make a deck entirely comprised of them. But this guy could certainly pack a punch. The main problem with the Warlord is that there are more reliable options for red at the 4 casting cost slot. In a typical duel, the Warlord isn't going to get much bigger than a 3/3 or a 4/4, and most of the time he'll be even smaller than that. If you're looking for a big red creature, check out Fire Elemental, Earth Elemental, or even Stone Giant. At least with them, you don't have to worry about keeping your Mons's Goblin Raiders alive just to keep them big and fat.

Now that Battle Squadron is a Goblin instead of a ship, it works with Goblin decks even better.

Yeah, a pretty nice creature here. Was always a major threat during it's era I thought. I like the changes to its' creature type as well. Scion of the Wild is an even better version in Green, and probably fits the color pie better there.
