One of the original multi-lands, I love it. A bayou is probably the best possible interpretation of both life and death, and this card spawned the thematic feel of virtually every green/black card to follow.

Why does the Oracle text for this card have all of the Revised text? It should be blank on Oracle...
Edit: Looks like they fixed it.

Eppek, creatures with landwalk are bad. No one plays them. Also, they're creatures, which mean any skilled player who can afford these probably isn't hurting for some Snuff Outs.

Bayou is one of the worst dual lands. Revised players using Bayou were susceptible to both Shanodin Dryads and Bog Wraith. On the flip side, it's not an island, so Sea Serpent and Island Fish Jasconius won't be able to attack you.
