Not bad in Lorwyn limited. It's one of few red cards that take out artifacts in Lorwyn block.

Im looking at the possibility of a land hate deck with this in it. Use some Training Grounds and some kinda of counter maker (clock spinning with a memory crystal?) and pop a shielding plax on him... interesting. Wonder if it will work.

If you want to destroy lands, use 4 mana on Poison the Well with 2 more damage. Plenty of artifact removal here too. Not worth it, especially for a red creature.
