Err... Does the all-in-caps menace realize that two out of those three are in standard?
That aside, I do prefer corrupt in a swamp heavy deck, while I suppose this works well with dark rituals and stuff like cabal coffers and crypt of agadeem.

Solid. And when you combine it with multiple Cabal Coffers...

I just realized how awesome this is compared to both Fireball and Stream of Life. And it can double as removal, it can help you power up your Necropotence if it needs more juice, it's the perfect black utility spell after Dark Ritual.

This is strictly better than drainlife and is a good card to see in the basic set.

I hate people who feel the need to type in all caps. It's like when you're sitting in a waiting room and some child feels the need to scream and yell like an idiot.

What a cute artwork.
I was familiar with Mirrodin's artwork for a long period of time, but this one isn't bad either.
Reminds me more of Drain Life, but that one is outdated.

It just has to be a sorcery... it has still saved me a few times, though. Oh yeah, Dark Ritual, of course.

so, um yeah, whats the downside to this card?
spend only black mana?
anyone see that new black land from zendikar Crypt of Agadeem
ok ok, so it is still not very good in a deck with low black mana, who would want it in a deck like that anyway, this card to for one thing, life drain, perfect blackness
