White Braids on steroids.
You can choose only to activate the ability if you want to, on top of that only permanents of the desired type can be sacrificed - including those you don't necessarily control, like Enchantments, Artifacts or Planeswalkers.
And it's non-legendary and has a decent body.

Actually vardaris, you're wrong.
205.2a The card types are artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, plane (from the Planechase set), planeswalker, sorcery, scheme, and tribal. (mana source and interrupt are now obsolete, and have been rolled into Instant)
See also the Oracle text for Tarmogoyf if you don't believe me. You can choose Tribal with world Queller to kill, say, a Bitterblossom while leaving alone all other enchantments.

It's white because it's "balanced". Not power-level wise "balance", actual balance. Theoretically, you both sacrifice one card. That's balance. White's all about that.

I posted a while ago that it's pretty good in monowhite control. Of course, then UW control became strong, and Spreading Seas and Tectonic Edge spelled the doom of Emeria, the Sky Ruin...
But now, thanks to the dynamic duo of World Queller and Sun Titan, monowhite Emeria once again can reanimate successfully. Sun Titan can fish out Emerias that have been destroyed while also providing a huge body, and if left unchecked he can do it more than once. World Queller can help get rid of those pesky seas.
Of course, technically, Ruin Ghost could protect your lands pretty well in the first place, but do you really want a 1/1 that forces you to hold mana open and doesn't offer any card advantage? Sun Titan also combos quite well with Admonition Angel, provided you include a couple of snaplands in the deck. Even if you have no lands left in your hand or deck, Sun Titan can fish one of the snaps out of the graveyard to feed Admonition Angel, then you can sac it right back there for next time.

1. The may clause is only relevant when you forget the ability. As if the ability was forced, you could get warnings at tournaments and/or be forced to scroll back the game if you forget to use the ability.
2. The card types are: Artifact, creature, enchantment, tribal, planeswalker, instant, sorcery and land. 2a. Schemes, vanguard and planes are cardtypes too if you play archenemy, vanguard or planechase. But only when you play those variations of magic.
3. You can choose a card type that is not a permanent type; instants and sorceries and in some cases tribal.
4. You can not choose supertypes: Legendary, snow, basic or world. Nor can you choose subtypes: Plains, aura, goblin etc.
5. You can not choose negatively, as in "nonland", nor can you choose two types, as in "artifact creature".
6. You can choose a cardtype that you don't control any permanents of.
7. If a player doesn't have a permanent of the choosen cardtype, then they can't sacrifice any permanents. 8. If no players have a... (see all)

The rule book says:
Card type
Every card has at least one card type: artifact, creature,
enchantment, instant, land, planeswalker, or sorcery. A
card’s type is printed under its illustration. Some cards,
like artifact creatures, have more than one type. Some
cards also have subtypes, such as “Goblin” and “Warrior”
in “Creature — Goblin Warrior,” or supertypes, such as
“basic” in “Basic Land — Forest.”
I don't think you can add in a super type like basic or legendary.
I don't think you can add in a subtype goblin or warrior either.

this dude feels truely mythic
the planet you are standing on sending an entity to crush you: Priceless, beautiful.
makes the Mythic Rares printed so far feel respected. not Mythic
the artwork has nothing to show exactly how colossal this manifestation is, but still manages to convey a feeling that this thing is larger the entirety of NYC.

Wow. The fact that it says "you may" makes this card so much more awesome than it may have been back in R&D.
Just. So. Awesome
