Going along the Emeria, the Sky Ruin idea, go a step further and use creatures with "come into play" abilities. Allies immediately came to my mind because there are a decent amount of good white Allies - Talus Paladin, Kabira Evangel, Ondu Cleric, Kazandu Blademaster, and Hada Freeblade. Kor Skyfisher also fits the recycling abilities theme. You can use Kor Cartographer, Expedition Map, and Explorer's Scope to ramp for the Emeria trigger, too. Furthermore, you get access to Brave the Elements, Journey to Nowhere, Oblivion Ring, and Path to Exile. Talus Paladin also opens up the possibility of another potential life gain/Felidar Sovereign build. Ahh...such a simple idea with so many possibilities. :)

Even better in multiples of any of the aforementioned. Creature and land advantage - what's not to love?
Underrated, IMO.

Combine this card with Emeria, the Sky Ruin and you can sacrifice a creature then just bring it bring it back out on the following turn.

agree with some of the comments here - he seems more black than white. that being said, i play him in my monowhite soldier deck and man...all i have to say is AVATARS FTW! :)

Excellent control card for monowhite. The operative word in the rule text is "may". If this card forced you to pick something every turn, it wouldn't be playable, but instead you can nuke your opponent's special tech whenever you want, on top of a survivable 4/4 body. 4.5/5.
