I know you can be specific like choosing "legendary creature" but can you be negative, like "non-snow land" ?

use this in a pure-white deck. at the beginning of your upkeep, choose a nonbasic land. :)

DonRoyale, try using Kor Hookmaster with the Cartographer and maybe an Admontion Angel. I can assure you, it's super fun.

Yeah, a nice, evil black... wtf, white?
Look at the name, look at the art, look at the "forced sacrifice" mechanic "power at any cost", this thing has black written all over it. Must be some sort of mistake, if it was planar chaos I could understand, but zendikar?

This card excels in most mono white decks, simply because you always have something to throw away. And since I don't have enough planeswalkers to run in a deck well, he works great as a planeswalker negater. Who's going to waste 5+ mana to throw out something they will have to sacrifice next turn?

The big problem with this card is continuos bouncers.

I have a question. When using his ability, could you pick a type of permanent that you don't control? And simply have your opponent sacrifice that type of permanent?

This card doesn't feel like it should be white.

"May" is irrelevant, you could pick instant/sorcery every turn and it would be the same as not using the ability.

Picking a type of permanents that you don't control is the best way to use this card. Smile broadly while choosing a card type at your upkeep that your opponent has and you do not!

To make this very clear, here are the card types (again).
204.2. Card Types
204.2a The card types are artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, plane, planeswalker, scheme, sorcery, tribal, and vanguard.

I really like this card, in some way, it can be an answer to any permanent your opponent will play which is awesome. The 4/4 body is solid for a creature with such an nice ability and at some point, it can even be threatening for your opponent.

I built a monowhite control deck around the World Queller with Emeria, the Sky Ruin, Kor Cartographer and Sun Titan. I included a lot of creatures with "come into... (see all)
