First of all, this is the best Hydra ever printed and it has an awesome artwork.
Everyone knows, that X-spells are one of the easiest ways to steal a stalled game in limited, Apocalypse Hydra makes no differents in this point. 10/10 for 7 mana + the ability to ping away anoying jumpers make this Feral Hydra on steroids a firsstpickable card.
On the other hand we have only jund ramp in T2, who could support this card, but its current cc6+ cards cloudthresher, broodmate dragon, violent ultimatum and in a few days banefire seem to be far mor better choices.
