The flavor text and picture are probably the only good parts of this card. This was one of the first cards I switched out of the Phyrexian deck.

Got him out on turn 2 with some dark rituals, but "frogot" to attack because my little brother was upset from losing the last couple of games

A vanilla 5/4 for 6. There are a few colored vanilla guys that are better than this, but for straight up colorless mana this is not bad. There are better options (Wurmcoil Engine) with the same CMC and better or equal power/toughness.
Love the art and flavor text. This was one of the first cards I had when I started playing and it is still my favorite flavor text.
