This is simply some of the best, most beautiful Magic art I've ever seen. It's very cool to know the flavor of how one creates a Sol Ring.
Also, the card is still pretty much bonkers.

@Youlose20life:
First of, "mexican" is not a language. They speak spanish in mexico. Second, "sol" is a latin word. It means sun. This is why a lot of words pertaining to the sun have that prefix. For example, "solar".

Can someone please tell me why anybody would rate this less than 5? It baffles my mind.
This card is extremely powerful and a staple from Magic history. I will always love Sol Ring.

Youlose20life: "Isn't sol mexican for moon? "
I don't know, I don't speak Mexican nor do I know anybody who does. I do know that Sol means sun in SPANISH though. (imagine that, a ring made from sunlight is called Sun Ring)

Strangely, I would like it to have the art of the new Nevinyrral's Disk. Nevertheless, amazing art, amazing card. Anything less than 5/5 is just silly.

Yay, now this card is easier to obtain!
...This card is also a great way for magic players to propose to one another...
Just a thought.
