Seems good for taking down Ajani's Spitemare.

@RiftenBlack

Yes, individually, if you look at bounce only, removal only.. buffs only.. there are better individual cards.. The whole point of these charms are flexibility and allowing you to deal with different situations instead of just 1...

Trying to compare this to a spot removal ONLY card or any other situational card is just silly.. That's not the intent of this card..

Any card that gives you options is very valuable to have in your hand. All these charms should be a 4 out of 5. Easily added to a main deck any time and almost always relevant to have in hand. Same can not be said for situational use cards.

This is a very mediocre charm.

In these colours, I like the Boomerang effect, even though it costs 1 more mana. I'm willing to sacrifice efficiency here if the other 2 modes are also good. Unfortunately, they aren't.

Giving a creature -4/-4 is often not efficient enough. When cards like Path to Exile, Terminate, etc. exist for just a few mana to kill almost anything, this removal spell looks very lackluster. While this can kill indestructible creatures, it can't even kill a Tarmogoyf most of the time, making it pretty bad.

The last mode is almost never useful in these colours, unless you're playing some kind of limited format. In 2013, that's not likely.

Since the Boomerang effect is a turn slow, it's also not as powerful as Boomerang is either. I'd pass on this.

Damn I've been missing out. I thought this card was not that good for my karona jank EDH deck, but it'll be amazing! For the record, I am running as many charms as I can in the deck (maximum options for maximum lawlz).

Here's the breakdown:
- Bounce karona at a time it is either attacking me or about to get tucked
- Kill a creature that is in the way of karona or posing a threat to her (possible just used as a combat trick)
- Bounce something in karona's way to kill the player or one of their planeswalkers or something
- The last ability is a little weak for the deck, but it could seal the deal if I just need 1 or 2 more commander damage.

This is gonna be great.
