Of all the 1 for 3 cost drops (Giant Growth,Time Walk, Lightning Bolt, & Dark Ritual) this is the absolute worst. Very underpowered compared to the others.

The anti-Lightning Bolt. I think the shadow guildmage is frowning because she and her colour only get this pathetic boon, and not a game-breaker like Ancestral Recall, or great cards like Dark Ritual or Lightning Bolt.

It can counter a lightning bolt, 2.5/5 effective sideboard card against burn. Even tho there are other sideboard options that will do more then a mild hindrance.
