They added the new Azorius watermark to this card! 5/5 for that!

Annoying EDH spell where it's owner has to remind everyone about the effect # 2.
However, the reigning annoyer is obviously Rhystic Study.

Curves nicely from Ghostly Prison and then into Spelltithe Enforcer.
Or alternatively, you could Azorius crazy-styles and drop this guy and a few Council of the Absolute, and then Sphinx's Revelation for a billion.

The removal spell always costs one more to get rid of this dude... always something, eh?

Great card, just not in the current modern environment.

The second I see this guy as a commander I know who to attack the rest of the game.

All hail the Hoverpope, lord of cheaper Sphinx's Revelations!

This is the first card in this set that I am sure of is in here more for Commander than for anybody else. The rest of the cards so far have theoretical, plausible explanations. This guy's PRIMARY reason for reprint is Commander. Yay! :D
