What in the world is this thing doing here? I mean... Yay, it's here... But why?
This really couldn't have been just to show off indestructible as a keyword, could it?

For things worth making indestructible:
Nevinyrral's Disk and Mycosynth Lattice.
And there are ways of getting cards into play without hard casting them. a turn 2 or 3 Show and Tell is one example of cheating something into play.
There are also a lot of artifacts that tap for more than 1 mana. Grim Monolith or Metalworker are just two of the strong ones.
Not to mention there are other uses for having something with a cmc of 9 on the board. March of the Machines is just one of those uses. Would you rather not have a 9/9 that makes all of your artifacts indestrucible?

Great choice for a reprint. Showcases Indestructible's new status. Cuts down on the price of the card, making it more accessible for casual and kitchen table players. Perfect example of a mythic. And to top it all off, that flavor text is incredible.

I like the fact that indestructible is a keyword.
I hate the wording "have indestructible"

No doubt reprinted for EDH and Casual players. As someone who works in a Card Shop, we were completely out of stock on these. Same with Darksteel Ingots, so getting a flood of stock from a core set reprint is a blessing.
