The Flavor is Strong in this One.
Not to mention it's even a pretty good creature without being monstrous.

@abcdefyou: You're more wrong than anyone else... Originally, this guy can only focus on one creature, even with his hundred hands. After becoming monstrous, he can use one hand for each creature. Note the word "additional", by the way; he can block (1 + 99 =) 100 creatures once he becomes monstrous.

Holy shit, this has reach in its monstrous form? Damnit, I lost a game in the pre-release because I didn't read that. Vigilance + Reach is great.

I love how specific that number is. This card is ridiculous.

Given that his arms are just levitating around him, do you think that he stores them someplace? It might be like humans and car keys. Poor guy walks all the way to a polis to stomp some heroes, only to realize he left his arms in the kitchen cabinet. That monstrous cost is actually him making the journey to his house and back.

Slap Indestructibility on him for epic defense.

It does a good job of highlighting just how badass Palace Guard is. Can block EVEN MORE creatures than a giant that literally has 100 hands.

I pulled him at the prerelease, and whenever he came down, he did solid work for me. He blocks almost anything else on the board at that point, and his monstrosity cost isn't that difficult to get to. And once he does go monstrous, you either have to kill him or accept the fact that your never attacking again.
Also, the flavor of this card is both hilarious and awesome.

Whoo it's a hekatonkheir! The card itself seems kinda silly to me but I have a real soft spot for direct references to mythology.
