The rules text "can block any number of creatures" is strictly worse than "can block an additional 99 creatures".

Very nice, I didn't even know the legend behind this but it's still one of my favorite cards from the set. Hooray for trinket text!
Mosstone's right though; when you think about it, the number makes much more sense at forty-nine if with two arms he could only block one. What seems weirder to me though is that they chose to bump "an" to the next line which, had they not done that, might all have fit on six. I also wonder why they didn't use the verb form for the mechanic after settling on the "cost: action" formatting, given they'd indeed made monstrify a word. Such mysteries keep me up at night. Every night.
Nit-picking sure is fun. You'll never get it right Wizards, never! We won't let you! :P

Cool name, amazing flavour, awesome Bayonetta-meets-Shadow-of-the-Colossus artwork, and genuinely not a bad card in limited either. One of my favourite creatures from Theros block.

3/5 vigilance for 4 mana, not bad but nothing to write home about.
Turning that into a 6/8 vigilance reach can block everything for 6 mana, not bad. But I would still rather play a primeval titan. Just saying.

here we see MAGIC at it's very finest. :D This is JUST barely TOO serious to make it into an Un- set, and sillier than most not Un- Magic cards :D
this creature is 99x better BECAUSE it is strictly worse than Thoughtweft Trio XD
