Try out Goblin Tinkerer. He's actually quite strong. Tin Street is probably better pound for pound, but if you don't like green splash tinkerer is amazing.

how about a temporal isolation for easy pickins?

Dropping this bad boy on turn 1 can mean destroying an opponent's Aether Vial on turn two... if they're dense enough to play the Vial on their first turn with Vandal on the battlefield...
I briefly tested this as a Goblins alternative in Legacy to Tin Street Hooligan or Ancient Grudge, because I didn't want to splash green and figured Vandal can hit multiple artifacts over multiple turns, right? True in theory, but all the obvious defects really are terminal defects (Vandal is slower, less reliable, more vulnerable to disruption, etc).
Tin Street Hooligan even has a cooler name than Vandal, which is not true of very many goblins...

No.
I hate these creatures that have to get an attack through to activate an ability, yet have no evasion themselves.
