One of the best 1 drop artifact creatures, if not the best. Great for affinity or any deck really.

Only time I run into problems with this guy is when I get him out first turn then he gets killed off with no one to take his counter. Otherwise very nice.

It's like Simic Initiate, but colorless. Great card.
EDIT: Nevermind. This beats up Simic Initate, takes his lunch money, snaps his glasses, and sends him running in an avalance of card advantage. I run a full four in my artifact decks. He's that good.

This guy and Arcbound Stinger both are great targets for a Skullclamp. Nonetheless, I wouldn't mind Wizards to print more and better Modular creatures in the future, maybe in another Mirrodin / New Phyrexia set or even a Planechase product, so I could take these tiny guys out of my Commander deck. They're just not as fun to play as, say, Arcbound Crusher.

Pretty much a must have card for any Modular based deck. I love combining this with Skullclamp because it's an instant two card draw and you get to move his counter onto something else that you've got on the board.

Stuff like Proliferate works well with this.
If only there were more Modular cards, then one could make a deck based off of that...
IF ONLY... HMMM....
