@nibelheim_valesti:
I believe you are overlooking the fact that not all people who play magic are looking to succeed in the competitive environment. In a casual game, a player is more likely to get enough mana to make this guy hit the table (Dark Ritual or not), and it's actually pretty good. It gets you two creatures back from your graveyard for one card, and not in a way that entices other people to gang up on you if you're playing multiplayer.
In general, cards that are only good in more casual games don't bother me until they're taking up the rare slot in a booster. Cards like this are well and good, because without casual players the game wouldn't be where it is today. On the other hand, I don't like spending twelve bucks for three boosters and receiving a Venser's Journal, Grindclock, and Propagator Myr.

I've always liked haunt cards' effects but hated the haunt keyword itself. I've always been a recursion kind of guy. Your graveyard is a resource. Haunt creatures exile themselves.

*sigh* this is soo perfect for my deck, but that mana cost is bringing me down, oh well I've been using discarding creature cards as a cost for more things lately so it'll all work out fine.

Well, this dude does mean card advantage. You not only have a creature to attack and block with, but it also returns two creatures back to your hand. If you would consider drawing two cards to cost three mana, then you'd get a 3/3 creature for three more.
Sadly expensive creatures just have to deliver more. This guy would need some keywords, like fear or death touch, or a larger body or reduced casting cost.

It costs six. That amount of mana does not exist, and if you're going to reanimate it you might as well go for something that will actually win you the game.

In all fairness, if this was cheaper he'd be completely insane. He's a solid draft pick for late game, since he'll be aiming to die to haunt something, and thus will aggro continuously.
