Eractic Explosion/Kaboom! with lots of morph guys like this could work. It's definately a card that takes some creativity to play with, but it doesn't deserve more than 2.5/5

still, what's the purpose of this card OTHER than sacrifice for mana cost effects?

When I was a kid, this was the first magic card I ever saw. It was in a magazine, and the article was doing a semi-ironic exultation of the amazing properties of this card. I was completely, utterly baffled.

I'm not afraid to say this card is bad. There were some cards that made it boarder line interesting in Scourge and maybe Onslaught, but time and mana you would waste on this is what makes this card bad.
